French Summer Driving Bans 2010.

During the year there is a general driving ban on most HGV freight vehicles ( exceeding 7.5 tonnes ) from driving on the French road network from 22:00 on Saturdays to 22:00 on Sundays.

There are also additional driving bans on French Bank holidays throughout the year & extra driving bans on Saturdays during the summer.

This year the Summer driving bans will apply as follows: 

Saturday 10th July from 07:00 to 19:00 & Sunday 11th July from 00:01 to 22:00.

Tuesday 13th July from 22:00 to 22:00 on Wednesday 14th July ( Bastille Day ) .

Saturday 17th July from 07:00 to 19:00 & Sunday 18th July from 00:01 to 22:00.

Saturday 24th July from 07:00 to 19:00 & Sunday 25th July from 00:01 to 22:00.

Saturday 31st July from 07:00 to 19:00 & Sunday 1st August from 00:01 to 22:00.

Saturday 7th August from 07:00 to 19:00 & Sunday 8th August from 00:01 to 22:00.

Saturday 14th August from 22:00 to 22:00 on Sunday 15th August. ( Assumption Day )

Additional Bank Holidays

Saturday 30th October from 22:00 to 22:00 on Monday 1st November. ( All Saints )

Wednesday 10th November from 22:00 to 22:00 on Thursday 11th November. ( Armistice )
